TRAGEDY HITS HOME FOR CO-FOUNDER FROM BOSTON
Atlanta, GA – Apr. 16, 2013- MoZeus Worldwide, a global leader in mobile-app development and social media marketing is pleased to announce that it’s made a sizable donation to the relief efforts for the Boston Marathon Tragedy that took place on Patriot’s Day in downtown Boston. MoZeus, creators of the critically acclaimed SMART Activator, the most used brand marketing app in the world, has close ties to the city of Boston as Co-Founder, Charles Jones grew up just miles away from where the bombings took place. While Jones and his company reside in Atlanta, GA, the company has several clients in the Boston area and a few were even using the MoZeus technology at the Boston Marathon, most notably AT&T, who is a proud sponsor of the event.
Jones, who also acts as MoZeus’ Chief Operating Officer, added “Having spent more than 20 years in the greater Boston area and countless times on Boylston Street watching the conclusion of the Boston Marathon, this tragic event really hit home for my family and I. As a young, thriving company with philanthropic goals, we felt compelled to immediately act and contribute to the relief efforts of this unfortunate act. Ultimately, Atlanta has a large number of leaders from Boston and we’re hopeful they’ll also contribute to the Boston Marathon relief efforts. The main goal of this press release was to create awareness and hopefully prompt other Atlanta business leaders with Boston roots to act as well.”
Jones, a graduate of Concord-Carlisle high school in Concord, MA added: “It’s hard to understand what Patriot’s Day means to a Bostonian unless you grew up there.
